With several Award-winning Blue Flag beaches the surf on the North Coast of Ireland is widely reported to be some of the best in the world. Surfers can expect swell in excess of 18ft in the winter and up to around 8ft in the summer.
Beaches Within Northern Ireland you will find some of the most stunning beaches in Europe. The natural formation of the coastline provide long stretches of golden sand and impressive sand dunes. Several of our beaches have been awarded with the prestigious Blue Flag award.

Watersports Groups and individuals can use the Water Sports centre as a base for changing and storing belongings. Activities on East Strand include surfing, body boarding, sea kayaking, surf kayaking, wind surfing, sub aqua and sea angling.
Walking Walking is a popular activity with many North Coast visitors. Some wish to simply take a gentle stroll along the resorts seafronts; others prefer a brisk walk along the beach as stimulating exercise surrounded by fresh air and fantastic scenery. Many people like to walk the coastal routes or venture inland to the hills.
